When you sin (do sinful things, live a sinful life, your work produce sinful results), you earn death. But GOD wants to freely give you eternal life through our LORD Jesus! But it’s like water and oil, sin and GOD don’t mix. So, sin has to go. Since we can’t move sin from our lives on our own, GOD made the perfect sacrifice to wash away and clean us of our sins using the blood of Jesus. Because of this great act of GOD we no longer have to be separated from GOD by sin.
